If you missed the premier surfacing events of the industry (IBS and Surfaces) this year, you’re in luck. Take a tour with us and see the sights that really mattered in the Daltile booth.
Have It All!
Daltile made a strong showing of products and styles for every budget. “It’s our goal to provide unmatched availability alongside on-trend design and durability” said April Wilson the Dal-Tile brand marketing director. “This kind of flexibility helps you bring every imaginable design to life for your customers” said Wilson.
The Builder Studio Program
Some of the buzz around the floor centered on Daltile’s Builder Studio—the comprehensive program created for homebuilder customers. It features a broad spectrum of quality products that meet the needs of new homeowners. Products are carefully selected to represent the relevant and enduring styles that are in demand.
Builders love the ability to present products at several different price levels and adjust for the local market. The program also offers excellent customer support and continuing education.
Another focus of conversation in the booth was the Statements Program. It is an elite Daltile dealer program that supports tile and stone showrooms. It offers numerous marketing, merchandising, and financial benefits that strengthen the position of dealers in the market and increase profitability. The program currently has 169 dealers representing 214 showrooms across the United States and Canada.
Dickson Plant Opening
Maybe you’ve heard . . . Dal-Tile is opening up a new manufacturing plant in Dickson, Tennessee. This is the 12th plant in North America and will increase capacity significantly. It will be able to produce large format tile and plank tile with ease and will be outfitted with the best in tile technology. Production is slated to begin in early 2016.
2016 Design Trends
Walking through the booth, there was a heavy emphasis on design trends and style personalities that are relevant to your customers. Not only did Daltile define the trends, but delivers products that meet the demand. Whether you’re talking to a client that likes a transitional style or an urban chic vibe, Daltile helps you provide the right choices.
There was plenty of conversation about several hot trends:
• Large format wall tile
• Unique textures and finishes
The booth featured current best sellers that answer the latest trends, as well as some peeks at soon-to-be-launched products. Take the tour with Daltile brand manager, Kim Albrecht, to get a look at these new trend-driven products.
